# Maya calendar glyph sprite

`maya-calendar-glyphs.svg` deliberately combines two audited source families.

## Complete named calendar signs

The 20 Tzolk’in day signs and 19 Haab’ month signs are restored from the
project’s earlier complete monumental SVG set. Each named sign is embedded as
one indivisible drawing: the local build changes color and uniformly fits the
source canvas, but does not separate, rotate, stretch, overlap, or recompose
its internal elements.

## Numerals

The 0–19 numeral series remains the current set of local vector adaptations
from the University of Bonn project *Text Database and Dictionary of Classic
Mayan* (TWKM). The official catalogue thumbnails are cropped to visible ink,
traced to monochrome paths, and uniformly scaled.

`maya-calendar-glyphs.json` records the local source filename, source URL, and
SHA-256 hash for each named sign, and the TWKM graph record for every numeral.
Historical graph variants and regional spellings exist. The selected forms
are representative educational forms and do not imply endorsement by the
creators, TWKM, the University of Bonn, or Wikimedia Commons.
